Terms of Use

These Terms apply to the Shuuka website, public profiles, identity and trust features, routes, apps, themes, marketplace flows, and related APIs or software made available by Shuuka. By accessing or using Shuuka, you agree to these Terms and the linked legal notices, including the Privacy Notice and the Cookies and Browser Storage page.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You may not sell, lend, or transfer your account in a way that misleads others or harms the platform.

Shuuka verification is about proving control of a profile, account, company email domain, or published verification code. Verification is not a blanket endorsement, a guarantee of reputation, or a promise that a user can never act improperly.

• Submit only verification information that you control and have the right to use.
• Do not attempt to verify accounts, domains, or business identities that are not yours.
• Some networks can require manual review or delayed confirmation because the platform limits automated checks.
• Shuuka may revoke, refuse, or pause verification where information is incomplete, misleading, disputed, or unsafe.

Your Shuuka profile may be public. Your nickname, routes, verification history, and selected identity details can be used to help other people find the real you.

• Do not impersonate another person, brand, or organization.
• Do not register usernames or routes in bad faith, including for resale, extortion, confusion, or deliberate misdirection.
• Do not configure routes to send visitors to fraudulent, unlawful, harmful, or malware-serving destinations.
• Shuuka may reclaim, reassign, restrict, or remove usernames and routes that create legal risk, infringe rights, or undermine trust.

• Post, link to, or distribute unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or harmful material.
• Upload malware, hidden scripts, or code intended to interfere with users, apps, or Shuuka systems.
• Scrape the service, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass rate limits, or misuse verification, reporting, or consent systems.
• File fake reports, submit fraudulent verification requests, or falsify evidence.
• Hide legally required disclosures, including partnership, consent, or privacy notices that apply to your own profile activity.

Shuuka lets users install profile apps and themes, and lets developers submit marketplace apps. Those apps can have their own privacy rules, third-party recipients, and technical limits.

• If you install an app, you are responsible for how you use it on your profile and for the purpose behind the data you collect.
• If you publish an app, you must accurately declare permissions, privacy behavior, and third-party transfers.
• Shuuka may block, remove, or gate apps that create legal, security, or product trust risk.
• Your use of a third-party provider embedded through Shuuka can also be governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Shuuka offers paid plans (Pro and Enterprise) processed through Stripe, Inc.. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Stripe handles payment processing, invoicing, and subscription management on behalf of Shuuka. Shuuka never stores your full card number — payment credentials are tokenised by Stripe before reaching Shuuka's systems.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date in your account settings. Pricing, renewal cycle, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout and in your billing settings.

Unless law requires otherwise, fees for already-delivered periods or consumed services are not automatically refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.

The Privacy Notice and Cookies and Browser Storage page form part of these Terms. Public profiles can use first-party analytics to measure visits, clicks, and app interaction unless the profile owner has enabled privacy mode for that profile.

If you submit a fake-link report or other moderation request, you must do so honestly and with a legitimate basis. Shuuka may retain the report, investigate it, and notify affected parties where appropriate.

• Shuuka may suspend or remove accounts, verification states, routes, apps, content, or marketplace listings that violate these Terms, create legal exposure, or undermine trust and safety.
• We may take urgent action without advance notice where needed for abuse prevention, legal compliance, or platform security.
• You may stop using Shuuka at any time. If you request account deletion, some data can be retained for a limited operational or legal period as described in the Privacy Notice.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant Shuuka the limited rights needed to host, format, cache, display, route, moderate, and distribute that content inside the service and in related safety, support, and verification operations.

Shuuka retains all rights in the service itself, including software, design, branding, documentation, and trust systems. If you send feedback, you allow Shuuka to use it without separate payment or attribution obligation.

Shuuka is provided on an as available basis. We work to keep the service reliable and trustworthy, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent compatibility with every third-party platform, or that every item of user content or third-party destination will always be accurate, lawful, or safe.

To the extent permitted by law, Shuuka is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for harm caused by third-party platforms, embeds, apps, links, user content, or events outside our reasonable control.

Shuuka may update these Terms as the product, law, or security posture evolves. Material changes will be posted on the site or communicated in-product where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
